Audio Slideshow of Me Baking!!
Sarah Fry, a Temple student, came to my house and took pictures and audio while I baked. It was great fun, and here is her project! I noticed I say "so like" a lot, ah well, such is life. I've been saying "like" since I was 8, probably won't change much this week or next week will it? You can also view the project on a larger screen by visiting this site: http://snow.saleemahmed.com/sarah_ss/index.html

Stawberry Pop Rocks Cupcake - Day 28
Someone (Jadee or Justicia and Shawn) gave me Pop Rocks for my birthday. They appeared in one of the purple bags I had on my table. I was very excited to discover them and made them into really good cupcakes. Also, someone told me the other day that Pop Rocks were banned when they were first released because kids were choking on them. Oh my. Then they changed the recipe and they were on the market again. Crazy. Here's the wikipedia page on Pop Rocks.

Apple Pie
Took the picture a bit late, yesterday's pie was all but gone by the time I got home tonight. Still looks pretty. I grated lots of ginger and lemon zest into the apple mixture. So good.

Crunchy Toffee Cupcakes with Chocolate Frosting - Day 23
I made some what I thought was going to be caramel, but it was really toffee. So, in the middle of the cupcake is a piece of crunchy toffee. Very good, kind of strange. Like bubble gum ice cream.

Chocolate Ginger Birthday Cake - Year 25
That knife looks a little scary. Maybe it's trying to look big and bad because the cake was so awesome and intimidating?

Butterscotch and White Chocolate Chip - Day 10
Chocolate cupcake, white chocolate and butterscotch chips. Vanilla frosting. Very good, except the chips all sunk to the bottom and stuck a little to the paper. But, all the chips melted together was pretty tasty.

Gingery Ginger with Candied Ginger - Day 6
So so good these ones were. Fresh grated ginger in the cupcake, in the frosting, and then ginger on top. Inspired by a ginger Altoid I ate early this night.
